Pianist Ralph Sutton teams up with clarinetist Peanuts Hucko, bassist Jack Lesberg and drummer Cliff Leeman on this live set from Wayzata, Minnesota. One of a dozen hard-to-find Chaz Jazz LPs featuring Sutton, this outing has the all-star quartet stretching out on fairly lengthy renditions (between 6:41 and 9:41 apiece) of five veteran standards. Although Sutton and company have certainly played these songs (''Honeysuckle Rose,'' ''Memories of You,'' ''The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise,'' ''Ain't Misbehavin''' and ''I've Got Rhythm'') countless times, the enthusiastic interpretations contain their share of surprises and exciting moments.
