For 80's or 90's euphoric pop lovers there is something here for them, if not for two tracks, 'Is it me' and 'It's On Fire', that express some of the best work on offer from the era. Working with 80's pop geniuses like Toto should have perhaps made something more of this album, but it all comes down to how comfortable Anderson seems with the material. He has a great pop voice but never had pop songwriting sensibilities.

If you're a fan of Bowling in Paris by Stephen Bishop or the like, it's worth checking out.
