This is an under-rated masterpiece. The entire album, while diverse stylistically, has a cohesive feel to it, as if it were a rock opera/broadway musical. It has some of their hardest rocking tunes, like City's Burning (which was a hit on the Billboard AOR charts), The Situation, and Fast Times. It also contains some of their most beautiful acoustic songs, with unparalleled vocals by Ann Wilson and incomparable acoustic guitar work by Nancy Wilson. The only song to chart on the Billboard overall hot 100 was This Man is Mine, ironically my least favorite track (the only one I don't love).
