Slow Circle is the second Alex De Grassi album for Windham Hill Records. It is an album of solo acoustic guitar pieces, with no other instruments and no vocals. This is the best of the early albums from Alex De Grassi and for that matter, one of the finest solo guitar albums to come from Windham Hill.

The guitar playing on this album is superb and the songs are more developed than on his first album. Two lengthy pieces, Sleeping Lady and Midwestern Snow showcase the fine guitar playing of Alex De Grassi. Fans of solo acoustic guitar and early Windham Hill albums would enjoy this album.
